Tips for Your Organic Beauty Regimen

Many more women are now deciding to use natural organic beauty products rather than the more processed types on the market. This seems to stem from a number of concerns ranging from wanting to know exactly what they are putting onto their skin, to using products that have not been tested on animals.

This increased demand for natural products has led to quite a significant rise in the amount of organic beauty creams, moisturizers, and cleansers which are now available on the shelves in most of our local supermarkets. If anything, there are now so many fantastic organic products to choose from, making a selection can actually take quite some time.

To make your beauty selection a little easier, we have put together a short list of some of the things to look out for in creams and skincare products.

1. Make-Up Remover

When you are looking for a make-up remover make sure to choose one that is alcohol free and does not contain any kinds of detergent. This will be far less likely to dry out your skin and will have a gentler cleansing action. Most good organic make-up removers will contain vitamins A, B, C and E, which will help to repair and invigorate your skin. Most tend to be used most effectively with an exfoliating muslin cloth, which helps to remove dead skin.

2. Moisturizers

When choosing a moisturizing cream always choose one that has antioxidants such as green tea extract as well as nourishing ingredients such as vitamins C and E, this will help to rejuvenate your skin leaving it feeling soft and flexible. Many good organic moisturizers will also contain Shea butter or aloe vera for added skin nourishment.

3. Organic Shampoos

There is a wide range of organic shampoos to choose from, many with exacts of tea oil and beta glucan. These can help to both condition your hair as well as stimulate hair growth. There are a number of fantastic organic lip products available from most super markets and chemists. Check the labels carefully to make sure that they contain no petroleum products. All good organic lip products will help to nourish your lips as well as adding that touch of natural colour.

6. Firming Creams

Look for grape and lemon juices as well as nutrient rich fatty acids when you are looking at firming creams. These are all completely natural ingredients and will help to firm up your skin as well as giving it a healthy glow. Most good firming creams will also contain peptides and vitamin C for their anti- aging properties.

7.  Creams for Oily Skin

If you are prone to oily skin or blemishes, look for a cream with added willow bark and salicylic acid this will help to dry your skin in a gentle and soothing way. It will also hydrate your skin whilst at the same time repairing the area where you may have blemishes. These incredibly fast acting creams can be used on a daily basis and are kind to your skin.

8. Age Defying Creams

For age defying creams look for something, which contains exact of apple or grape. These both have excellent antioxidant properties and can also help to repair sun-damaged skin. This type of gentle organic cream will also help to reduce wrinkles and leave you with young looking radiant skin.
